Mr. Korst built his expertise in pharma in a range of strategic leadership positions over a 21 year career in the Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Sector. He gained operational experience in marketing & sales in the Netherlands, Central Europe and South East Asia, where he led several product (re-)launches in a variety of markets.
As general manager he led the Janssen-Cilag operations in Egypt and demonstrated his ability to manage a company under harsh market circumstances.
Later on he acted as (Executive) Director Strategic Marketing for Central & Eastern Europe & Middle East, West Asia & African Territories. In this capacity he was driving the development and execution of regional strategies. He established a team to support the introduction of a number of products in more than 30 countries.
In this capacity he was member of the Board of Directors of the region.
In 2008 Mr. Korst decided to take voluntarily early retirement and started his private consultancy company. At the occasion he was rewarded with the Johnson & Johnson Standards of Leadership Life Time Achievement Award in recognition of achieving excellent business results by demonstrating outstanding leadership behaviors.
Mr. Korst joined Movetis on Oct 2 2009.
